The Voice of Our Leader WELCOME TO THE 2022 MINISTERS & WORKERS CONVOCATION! It is indeed a pleasure to extend a heartfelt welcome to each of you to our upcoming 2022 Ministers and Workers Convocation. The gathering of the Saints is always a refreshing and encouraging time of fellowship as God continues to equip, empower, and embolden our constituency in our most Holy faith. In our own finite understanding, we often find ourselves putting God in a box and limiting Him, but the Word of God tells us that we serve a God whose power, capacity, knowledge, being, compassion, grace and Holiness is immeasurable. Therefore, we thank the Lord for each of our Spirit-led speakers who will impart wisdom and knowledge in helping us understand the magnitude of this great gift of the Holy Ghost that is set apart for believers who ask for power, anticipate power, and embrace power for Kingdom living. To that end, our 2022 Ministers & Workers Convocation theme is: “PERSEVERE TO GOD IN THE URGENCY OF TENACIOUS (OR AUDACIOUS) FAITH” II Kings 4:8-37 If there ever was a time to utilize the God-given power of the Holy Ghost, it is now for we know that there is no limit to what God can and will do. And, if we pray and believe, all things will be possible through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, let us keep an open line of communication with God daily so we can experience authentic deliverance, miraculous healing, and celebrate with those who God will set free ALL because they/we have experienced God’s unlimited power! Your presence is an indication that you are committed to growing and developing in your faith. Not just for yourself, but for your home, your church, your community, and in all souls you are blessed to impact for life-change. Guest Speaker _________________________________________ Superintendent Nathaniel Green, Sr. PRESIDENT, INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DEPARTMENT CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST, INC.

Pastor Nathaniel L. Green, Sr. is an inspirational leader and visionary serving as the Senior Pastor of the Grace Cathedral Church of God in Christ located in Dallas, TX. As the Servant Leader of Grace Cathedral, Pastor Green has dedicated his life to the practical and spiritual development of the many men, women, and youth who attend Grace Cathedral each week. His passion for worship and the Word have set him on a path to offer a ministry of transformation to those who are in pursuit of truth. Pastor Green was born in Hampton, VA to Lady Naomi Green-Ward who raised him as a single parent with the help of his grandparents, Bishop Samuel L. and Madam Vivian F. Green, Jr. On May 12, 2007 Pastor Green became the proud husband of Lady Kennisha L. Green, who serves faithfully along his side in ministry. “Lady K” as she is affectionately known has worked in the educational system as a teacher for over 10 years and carries a passion for pouring into the next generation. She also serves as the Director of the women's ministry where she also fulfills her passion to empower women of all ages and backgrounds. Pastor and Lady Green have been graced with a son, Nathaniel L. Green, Jr. and a daughter, Karis Olivia Green. Pastor Green is also currently studying Psychology and Christian Leadership at Regent University . As a son of the Church of God in Christ, Pastor Green currently serves under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake and Dr. Benjamin Stephens as the Vice-President of the International Youth Department of the Church of God in Christ Worldwide. On June 5, 2015 Pastor Green was appointed by Bishop J. Drew Sheard as the Senior Pastor of the Grace Cathedral Church of God in Christ. He was then appointed by Bishop Nelson J. Gatlin on November 21, 2015 as the Superintendent of the Grace Fellowship District. His ministry has traveled throughout most of the United States and far as from the coast of Alaska to the far reaches of London, England through which thousands have been saved and received the gift of the Holy Spirit. He is the evidence of transformation and is determined to bring men and women of all backgrounds to Jesus Christ.

Our Jurisdictional Prelate Bishop James E. Hornsby VISIONARY, PASSIONATE, EDUCATED, FOCUSED, MAN OF INTEGRITY AND A MAN OF FAITH FULL OF THE HOLY GHOST . . . . The attributes of a God-chosen leader who is called, chosen, and faithful (REVELATIONS 7:14B). Bishop James E Hornsby, Prelate of Texas Northeast First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction was born a leader who leads with a true vision from God. He serves to promote, develop, and empower Christian leaders, congregations, and workers to impact communities and advance World Missions with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One of the important tiers of his leadership is multigenerational that focuses to effectuate change to build God’s kingdom. Bishop Hornsby has server in various capacities on all levels of the local, district, state, and national church. A noted intellectual on church protocol and pastoral, organizational, and strategic leadership, he is often requested to present in seminars and conferences across the country. As third in succession, Bishop Hornsby serves as Prelate of Texas Northeast First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. In addition, he also serves the congregations of Cathedral of Faith Church Of God In Christ in Euless, Texas and Saintsville Sanctuary Church Of God In Christ in Dallas, Texas as pastor and shepherd. God has blessed Bishop Hornsby to oversee the completion of the initial phase of a new $7.5 million dollar Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Christ edifice which when completed will exceed $10 million dollars. In the meantime, he has initiated and nearly completed a $2 million dollar renovation to the Jurisdictional Headquarters, Saintsville Church of God in Christ, including the parking lot which is currently in progress. Bishop Hornsby is married to the lovely and anointed Lady Janis L. Hornsby. They are the parents of three children, who are highly educated, extremely talented, and an enormous help to the ministry. They are the proud grandparents of one beautiful granddaughter, and three handsome grandsons who energetically participate in the ministry as well.
