LAND ROVER DRESSAGE TEAMS CHALLENGE WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The inaugural Land Rover Dressage Team Challenge resulted in a powerful victory for the Canterbury based Forward Power Welcome League team who scored a massive 929 points over nearest rivals the Dressage Central Districts Divas on 693 points.
The team concept has been very well received and supported in both islands as Dressage is traditionally a very individual sport so a huge thanks to Land Rover for their support.

A total twenty one Youth teams participated and twenty six senior teams. The Youth teams were open to all Under 21’s while the senior teams targeted less experienced riders with support from a more experienced team captain to mentor them.
The National Youth Division win was for six strong team of the northern based Dressage Defenders on 669 points from a North Island wide team, the Young Guns, who scored 665 points. The South Island Red team took the honours for the southern award scoring 519 points ahead of South Island Blue on 508 points which was a mighty effort from just four team riders.
