A WORTHY RECIPIENT OF THE 2023 ST GEORGES TROPHY

The magnificent St Georges trophy was donated by the Friends of Dressage in 2000 to recognize the achievement of riders reaching FEI levels for the first time.

It is awarded to the first-year combination competing in the Super 5 League with the ave best three scores calculated to find the winner. This year it goes to the Palmerston North combination of Baldeep Dhillon and his magnificent, imported Friesian stallion – it is the first time this breed has featured on the winners list which has been dominated by warmbloods and Hanoverians since its inception. The top five placegetters were very close.
