He r e, I explored the s truct u r a l p r o p e r t i es o f s a n d , a n d i t s presence on t h e si t e a t a wi d e r a n g e of sc ales. Unders ta n d i n g t h e b e h a vi o r o f s a n d a s a moldable s u b st a n ce wh e n co m b i ned with water, I d i d a ser i e s ca st i n g s a n d i n a variety of geom e t r i c f o r ms. I t h en s e t out to design a space t o r e f l ect t h i s p a r a doxi c a l relations hip a n d f a ci l i t a t e fu r t her study in the contex t o f t h e si t e .
