Flying Project Commissioner/Creator Kris Lin International Design

Team Jiayu Yang The project is located at Jiangyin city, the center of the Yangtze River Delta urban economic planning zone. We want to create an urban art experience center. The design inspiration comes from the “flying over the water surface”. We take the water from the Yangtze river to the landscape pool, and design two building blocks around the landscape pool. The two building blocks are connected by the emptying layer, and the gathering space is formed under the emptying layer, which can be used for public activities. And form the final architectural shape of a pair of flying wings.

Team Wei Sun, Zhen Ye, Yantong Zhou The Leisure Complex Center is located in the second phase of Zhongguancun Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Industrial Park, in a coastal city in North China called Weihai, in Shandong Province. The whole industrial park is divided into two areas, covering an area of 637 mu, with the south area covers an area of 380 mu, mainly about the production base of six kinds of pharmaceutical related products; and the north area covers an area of 257 mu, which is the pharmaceutical phase related product R & D and incubation base and supporting auxiliary facilities. This project is located just in the southwest corner of the industrial park, where is close to the west and south main streets. The landscape garden of the project covers an area of 39,478 square meters, while the building covers an area of 4522 square meters, which presents a low-density leisure comprehensive center in the high-density factory buildings.

Kids Colorful Palette Project Commissioner Hsinchu County Jiafeng Non-Profit Preschool Creator WEI CHENG, LIN Architecture Firm The architect designed an ideal kindergarten based on the educational concepts and needs of children with correspondence on the historical culture of the site and its natural environment, integrated with the urban green belt space and water canal heritage of the site. Overall design realizes the connection between local community, living environment, education, heritage and kindergarten space creation. Each design detail is conducive to the cultivation of the core qualities of the children.

Chengdong Elderly Nursing Home Project Commissioner Xiuwu County Bureau of Civil Affairs Creator Domain Architects We rejected the conventional model of integrated building volume with its dorm-like living experience. Instead, all the private rooms are dispersed to the perimeter of the site, while all the public space and serving facilities, such as dining and recreation, are placed in the center.

All the concrete volumes are connected by seamless paths covered by translucent material. Subsequently, these meandering corridors divide the site into many bamboo courtyards vary in size and shape, providing cozy stroll experience and evoking the ideal lifestyle in traditional Chinese garden culture.
