Team Yu Yen Chu The couple who own the old apartment, both of them lawyers, wish to realign its space in hopes that the new spatial layout can be in marked contrast with the old.

The monotonous space is transformed into one that is both adaptable and open. By redesigning the space and its flow, not only does the space look more spacious, but more room can be put to use. Inspired by the owners’ profession and dressing style, our design team has made drastic changes in the layout and spatial arrangement. With cultured stone, blue hardwood walls and made-to-order line lamps on the wall, a distinctive, brand-new living space is customized.

Its innovative design and fine construction approaches contribute to a unique new living space where family members bond and interact.

A Serene Hideaway Project Commissioner Mei Huang Creator Yunz Interior Design Group The client’s original expectation for this project is a private hidden space for the couple in the city. “Although the Zen style in Kyoto is good, it is a bit old” reveals that the client is looking forward to a residence with an exquisite Japanese design and a modern style. After understanding the client’s needs, the designer integrated the industrial style with a Japanese-style that met the client’s expectations, and created a unique minimalist and modern sense of residence.
