Mango seed oil is obtained from the Kernels of the mango tree. The Mango is one of the largest fruit trees in the World and can grow fruit for hundreds of years. COCONUT (Cocos nucifera) A member of the palm family (Arecaceae), the coconut tree is found in tropical coastal areas with its origins being retraced to Indonesia. Discovered in the 16th century by Spanish and Portuguese explorers, the trees were subsequently imported to Central and South America. Alongside the diversity of uses offered by the various components of the Coconut Palm -trunk for furniture, leaves to weave matsthe oil, which is extracted from the seed pulp, is commonly used in the food and cosmetic industries, it forms an ivory white solid below temperatures of 25o C. The main constituents of coconut oil are saturated fatty acids: lauric, myristic, palmitic, decanoic and caprylic acids. They are believed to help restore more youthful-looking skin. Lauric acid, which comprises half the content of fatty acid content in coconut oil, has a high affinity for hair proteins. Because of its low molecular weight, it can easily penetrate inside the hair stem. Therefore, coconut oil can help prevent protein loss from hair. Coconut oil has rehydrating, emollient and elasticizing properties which counter the formation of wrinkles and strengthen the hair. Bitter Orange flower oil is derived from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree and is more commonly known as Neroli oil. It has been known to increase circulation and stimulates cell growth.
