This course covers the phenomenon of speech sound, the phone and phoneme, the English vowel and consonant system, the phonetic and phonemic notations and transcriptions, the syllable, phonotactics, connected speech processes and prosody. (Kursus ini merangkumi fenomena bunyi ujaran, fon dan fonem, sistem vokal dan konsonan bahasa Inggeris, notasi dan transkripsi fonetik dan fonemik, suku kata, fonotaktik, proses ujaran yang berangkaian, dan prosodi.)
