CentraState earns second “Best Places to Work” award FREEHOLD TOW NSHIP—NJBIZ newspaper has selected CentraState Medical Center one of the 55 “Best Places to Work in New Jersey,” among all industries in the business publication’s annual statewide ranking. Large and small companies throughout the state were rated in a two-part process. The first evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second consisted of an employee survey to measure the experience in each workplace. “This award from NJBIZ reflects the hard work and commitment by our employees, and the positive culture they help create,” says Frances Keane, vice president, Human Resources, CentraState Healthcare System. “Being recognized as a best place to work is the latest accomplishment in our commitment to clinical and service excellence, which is the core of our organizational values and vision statement. Our employees are at the heart of excellence.” The newspaper is scheduled to announce the specific rankings among the 30 large and 25 small ‘Best Places to Work’ winners at a dinner on April 23. Late last year, Modern Healthcare magazine named CentraState Healthcare System 20 th among the 100 best places to work in healthcare nationally. CentraState has 2,500 employees and is the largest employer in Western Monmouth County. CentraState Healthcare System is a non-profit community health organization consisting of an acute-care hospital, an ambulatory care campus, three senior living communities, a Family Medicine Residency Program, and a charitable foundation. It is a member of the Robert Wood Johnson Health Network and a clinical research affiliate of The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. ###
