Welcome to the DSE Fair It is with great pleasure, the DSE team and I welcome you to the largest job and career fair for engineering students in Denmark, The DSE Fair Lyngby 2022. The DSE Fair is where more than 100 companies, start-ups and organizations are all looking forward to meet and talk to students and hopefully find their new intern or employee. The DSE team consists of more than 50 student volunteers, who have spent a great deal of their spare time to create the best fair for you, your fellow students and all of the participating companies. DSE Fair Lyngby 2022 is a great opportunity for students to meet company representatives and expand the professional network. Building a network will make you, as a student, more attractive to the companies and give you an advantage in your pursuit of the future job or internship. It is clear that engineers are in high demand and a priority, when the companies are willing to take two days out of their calendar only to talk to the next generation of talented engineers, and we are grateful for that.
But despite being a highly attractive workforce, the job market is an ever changing and emergent organism and it is not set in stone, which jobs are waiting for you after you graduate. It is therefore very important that you become as attractive to the market as possible – so come prepared, read up on companies, find out why you want to talk to them and bring an updated CV for the companies. As a supplement to the fair booklet, remember to take a look in the company handbook Pejling 2022, where you can read more about the companies and obtain skills that empower your resume writing, upgrade your CV and how to improve your network. If you have any questions about the fair, do not hesitate to drop by our offices located at DTU Lyngby Campus in the Student Center on the second floor in building 101E or at DTU Ballerup Campus, room D2.82 or visit our website: www. Studerende.dk. I look forward to seeing you at the DSE Fair Lyngby 2022, April 6th and 7th at the Technical University of Denmark. Cecilie Oved Bendtsen, Chairwoman, DSE – Students’ Business relations.
