I am the Nitrogen Footprint Analyst at the Center for Sustainability Education (CSE). I will be primarily analyzing data taken from FY14 nitrogen footprint study using the University of Virginia’s Nitrogen Footprint Tool to ascertain how the college can reduce harmful nitrogen emissions in all stages of the college’s processes. I will use these results to begin outreach to the general community about the effects of nitrogen on our environment. I am thrilled to be a part of this team to help mitigate the college’s harmful effects to the environment, as well as to inform others about how we can all help to make a change. In my free time I participate in many clubs and activities on campus such as the Outing club, the Global Gastronomy Club, the Math and Computer Science Club, and the Italian club. JACKIE GEISLER

Hi-howdy-hey! I’m Ivy Jo Gilbert and I am the Eco-Rep Coordinator for the Spring 2016 semester. It is my responsibility to help empower and enable students, faculty, and staff to engage in peer education to help make Dickinson more sustainable. Together we plan events, campaigns and this semester we are going to help show YOU how to get involved in the energy challenge and why sustainability is important to everyone. On campus I am general manager of the Peddler: the sustainably minded go-to coffee and tea option. The cart is 98% zero-waste with electricity coming from solar and a majority of waste being compostable. When I’m not spilling coffee on my mother’s old clothing you can find me on the fourth floor of Adams going about my RA duties. If you can’t tell, community building is my jam and I personally challenge you (since you had the energy to read this) to reach out to us at CSE and get involved!
