The fires hit home for us at DT as we are based less then a dozen miles from the north, east, and south of where they were burning. In addition to the coverage of SoCal fires, DT 10 features the reportage photo essay "Hard Rock Gold" by award winning photographer Louie Palu, and the BACKSTORY article on William Claxton entitled "McQueen and Me" which investigates the relationship between Claxton and his frequent subject the late actor Steve McQueen.
