Creating an interactive Formula One Museum, showcasing Formula One pedigree from the very beginning. Formula One racing is considered one of the top five most popular spectator sports in the world. Popularity is not as high in the united states, but is consistently increasing. energy. consumption is an ongoing issue, Formula One has made it mandatory to limit the amount of fuel used in their race cars during a race. The racing teams had to develop innovative ways to achieve this goal. Utilizing the same principles in my building and by capitalizing on “free energy will greatly reduce the carbon footprint and creates an environmentally responsive and respectful facility.

Program Abstract
BMW WELT In 2000, the BMW Group decided to build a brand-experience and car-delivery center in close vicinity to the corporate headquarters and the BMW museum. One of the central design ideas is to expand the existing configuration of the BMW Tower and the museum with an additional element so as to create a spatial, ideal, and identity-forming architectural ensemble. The design proposal by COOP HIMMELB(L)AU consists of a large transparent hall with a sculptural roof and a double cone informed by the relation with the existing company headquarter building.
