UK Black History Month was at least partially inspired by US Black History Month (Celebrated in February) Despite their similarities, these two months aren t the same, as the Black experience is not the same universally However, we can celebrate Black culture’s diverse narratives and contributions globally by recognising these distinctions
Belonging Society aims to ensure that many aspects of the Black Culture is acknowledged
