In October 2025, our Year 7 and 8 cricket squads will embark on an exciting pre-season cricket camp in Al Ain, designed to sharpen their skills and strengthen team camaraderie ahead of the new season. Over the course of the camp, players will engage in two competitive matches, complemented by intensive training sessions twice a day, ensuring they gain valuable match practice and refine their techniques.

During the October half-term weekend in Al Ain, students will participate in a training camp designed to prepare them for the upcoming DC 7s and BSAK 7s tournaments. This prestigious international tournament has been part of the Dubai College Netball calendar since 2022, when we won all three age groups. The tournament includes many of the top UK netballing schools and gives our DC girls a taste of international competition in the superb setting of Loughborough University, arguably the top sporting university in the UK. Netball is played over three days with finals live streamed in front of a packed out crowd. Squads of 12 will be selected for U13, U15 and U17 age groups.

The training will take place at Richmond Park. The boys will face Trinity College in a warm-up game to prepare for the tournament. Additionally, the boys will compete in the prestigious Caldicott National 10s tournament over the weekend, providing further chances to test their skills and challenge themselves on a national stage.
