ABDULFATTAH SHARAF’S CAPTAIN’S DAY

Emirates Golf Club hosted Abdulfattah Sharaf’s Captain’s Day which saw 112 men compete on the Majlis course in a Pairs Better Ball format.

The overall winners with an impressive 44 points were Naresh Handa and Sudhir Vora. Both players complimented each other well finding only one bogey alongside

seven birdies and one eagle.

The runners up with 43 points were Boyd Edmondson and Craig Tredenick. It required a scorecard inspection to gain the runners up position and 3 impressive net birdies was enough to secure this position. In third place was Himanshu Gandhi and Ajay Shah again with 43 points. Just missing out on 2nd place by Better Back 3. Himanshu and Ajay had a great back 9 never less which helped them gain 3rd place.

In fourth place was Gary Black and Shane Wilson with another 43 points. Garry must be extremely thankful for his partner on this day. Shane scored a Net 67 dominating the Better Ball picks.

In fifth place was Alistair McMillan and David

Moody with 42 points. Both players struggled to get off the mark but quickly found form. A strong back 9 of 22 points secured them 5th position following a card play-off.
