Emirates Golf Club hosted the annual Chairman’s Cup which saw 89 Gentlemen compete on the Majlis Course in a Stableford format.

The overall winner with 40 points was Dean Bell. It was a very steady front 9 of 18 points. Only on the back 9 did Dean step on the gas, coming home in 22 points and helping dean win on a Better Back 9 card playoff.

Runner up in the overall division was Patrick Mulligan just missing out on 1st Place with another 40 points. The highlight of Patrick’s round comes from two Net eagles he made on hole 10 and 6. In third place was Mustafa Khan with 39 points. The highlight of Mustafa’s round comes from his Net Eagle on hole 10 followed by two Net birdies which helped him secure 3rd place in a

Better Back 9 card playoff. Best Gross was won by Ewan Cameron with 31 points. An exceptional 37 level par on the back 9 helped Ewan secure Best Gross with a Better Back 9 in a card playoff.

Winner of the A Division (for players with a handicap below 14) was Ghanshyam Manghnani with 39 points. A very strong front 9 of 21 points set the pace for Ghanshyam. A steady 18 points on the back 9 was enough to secure the A Division prize.

Runner up in the A Division was Kabir Luthra with 38 points. A steady round on the Majlis for Kabir. Most noticeable was a gross birdie on hole 3.

Winner of the B Division (for players with a handicap above 15) was Arun Khehar with 36 points. Arun played consistent Golf with 3 Stableford birdies, 12 pars and 3 bogeys.

Runner up in the B Division was Colin Dallas with 35 points. Most noticeable for Colin was a Gross Birdie 2 on hole 7 and 4 Net Birdies placed across his round.
