On Sunday 13th March, Emirates Golf Club hosted the Ladies Amateur Open which saw 35 golfers competing on the Majlis Course.

The overall winner of the Ladies Amateur Open was Jamie Roslyn Camero from The Els Club with gross 75. Jamie started her round with three straight birdies which was followed up with birdies on holes 14 and 15.

Runner up was Liang Wei Liu with a gross 76. Liang had a very strong finish to her back nine as she played the last five holes in one under par. Third was Alayna Rafique with a gross 77. Alayna played very consitent throughout her round, having eight pars in her front nine.

In the Net Division, Alia Al Emadi from the EGF was victorious with a Net 70 (BB9). Alia had a very srong start to her front nine as she made net birdies on holes 1 and 3. Runner up was Silvie Meyer with a net 70. Silvie went on a magnificent run in the back nine which included a gross birdie on hole 13 and a net eagle on hole 16. Third was Moira Halkett from Jumeirah Golf Estates with a net 71, the highlight of Moira’s round was on the 9th hole where she made a net eagle.
