LADIES EASTER SCRAMBLE

Tuesday 19th April, Emirates Golf Club hosted the Ladies Easter Scramble which saw 14 teams of four compete on the Faldo course in a Four-player scramble format. In runners up position was Arathi Appaiah, Ingrid Lind, Nicsha Rodriguez and Maureen Platt with a Net 58 (-14). 66 was the gross score of this team. Most noticeable were the two two’s the team made on holes 8 and 17. -6 Net for the last 6 holes helped this team secure 2nd place on a Better Back 6 card playoff.

In third place was Josie Tracey, Yulia Golubeva, Helen Srivastava and Nancy Wingate with 58 Net (-14). A very tidy round by the team with a Net eagle on 6. -6 Net on the Back 9 helped them secure 3rd place with a Better Back 9 in a card playoff.

Winner of the Best Easter Bonnet Team was Martha Wong, Naima Maya, Najla Bartette and Maura Duggan. All ladies wore symmetrical floral bonnets with an array of beautiful easter colours.

Nearest to the Pin on Hole 8 for the Silver Division (Handicap 0-18) was won by Ingrid Lind. Nearest to the Pin on Hole 12 for the Bronze Division (Handicap 19-36) was won by Avani Shah. Longest Drive on Hole 10 for the Bronze Division was won by Sabine Choudry. Longest Drive on Hole 16 for the Silver Division was won by Shiba Khan.

The overall winners were Priyanka Gupta, Aparna Mishra and Bhavna Jain with a Net 56 (-16). It was an unbelievable effort by the team, finding amazing form on the front 9 shooting level gross (-11 Net).
