The March edition of the Jumeirah Pairs by The Lounge Spa was a close affair coming down to a card playoff with the winners being Adam Hodgkins and Zak El-Taher excellent score of 46 points. The pair have been runnersup in the last two Jumeirah Pairs; however, they finally got their muchdeserved victory with Adam holing a long putt late on in their round for a 2 to win on a card playoff.

Jumeirah Golf Estates hosted the Jumeirah Pairs by The Lounge Spa over the Fire Course with 100 golfers competing. The course was in perfect condition with greens rolling lovely making it possible for golfers to score well.

Runner-ups losing out to a card playoff were the father and son duo of Eirik Andresen and Martin Andresen with again a superb score of 46 points. The pair played some fantastic golf dovetailing brilliantly to go their round with no drop shots.

Third and fourth place pairings both scored 45 points and were split based on a better back nine score. Nic Wright and Scott Marshall came third, while Rob Hofmann and Peter Sharpe came fourth.

The event saw several junior pairings hence the decision to include a best junior pair prize. The young brothers Lukas Astrom and Simon Astrom took the prize scoring a superb 45 points.

THE PARK HYATT DUBAI LADIES

Jumeirah Golf Estates hosted The Park Hyatt Dubai Ladies in a Best 2 from 4 Betterball Stableford format over the Fire Course. The course was playing beautifully, with the greens rolling well making it a very scorable occasion for the ladies.

The March edition of The Park Hyatt Dubai Ladies was won by the team of Valerie Darnault, Juliette Castell, Rim Sun Lee & Evelyn Downham with a wonderful score of 86 points. It was a brilliant performance from the team with the highlights being two net eagles from Juliette on holes 2 and 15.

The team in second place finishing 4 points off the winners were Sheila McIlroy, Lorraine Martensson, Sarah Blomfield & Claudia Kilcullen with 82 points. An excellent team performance saw them get the runner up position with the highlight being a 2 from Sheila on the 8th hole. On the day there was a couple of on-course prizes, winning nearest the pin on hole 8 was won by Sheila McIlroy with a stunning shot that she converted into a two and winning nearest the pin on hole 14 was Rim Sun Lee.
