Welcome Welcome There are so many reasons to celebrate this season. The Diwali festival has just passed with all its lights and illuminations and we have just enjoyed the blessings of Eid Al Adha. The UAE National Day gives us plenty of reasons to be proud and we are also heading towards celebrating Christmas and the New Year! Since the last issue of this magazine, so much has happened at Outlet Mall. Kraft Foods, in partnership with UAE Red Crescent, broke the Guinness World Record for the World’s Longest Line of Sandwiches at Dubai Outlet Mall, all in the name of charity. WAS...
2.6 KM OF SANDWICHES AT DUBAI OUTLET MALL! It all happened on 7 October when Kraft Foods broke the Guinness World Record for the World’s Longest Line of Sandwiches by making 2,667.13 metres of sandwiches at Dubai Outlet Mall. The line of sandwiches was spread all around the ground floor of Outlet Mall created a vibe and excitement for customers and retailers alike. It took over half a tonne of cheese and more than 900 kilos of tomatoes, cucumbers and olives, amongst other ingredients, to create this mammoth sandwich but most of all it took a whole lot of heart. In the name of charity, more than 12,000 individually prepared sandwiches were made to feed many deserving mouths. In collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent, after establishing the new world record, the sandwiches were packed into boxes alongside chocolates & juices and delivered to labour camps to feed more than 5,000 labourers.
