MORPC Secures FRA Approval and $1 Million for Central Ohio’s Passenger Rail Return.
The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has approved Central Ohio for the Corridor Identification and Development (Corridor ID) Program, allocating $500,000 for each of two projects targeting the Cleveland-ColumbusCincinnati-Dayton Corridor (3C+D) and the Midwest Connect (Chicago-Fort Wayne-Columbus-Pittsburgh). This marks a pivotal step in revitalizing passenger rail service. MORPC, in collaboration with the City of Columbus and regional partners, conducted essential studies to lay the groundwork for this initiative. This approval is a significant milestone toward enhancing Central Ohio’s passenger rail service, addressing diverse community needs and fostering regional prosperity.

HOTWORX Invited Chamber Members to Network at their Dublin Fitness Studio We had a great time networking at our Morning Brew hosted by HOTWORX in Dublin! Chamber Members had the chance to expand their professional networks, connect with fellow members, and vote on the 2024 Chamber budget.
