President’s Message

President’s Message

Happy Autumn.

I can’t tell you how honored I am to serve as your 20232024 Dublin Chamber Board President. This year, I look forward to getting to know many of you better and to working together to continue the strong tradition of the Dublin Chamber as one of the largest and best chambers of commerce in the State of Ohio! I hope to see you at many of our upcoming events — from Taste of Dublin to Dublin Off the Clock After-Hours events to our Women in Business Luncheons — all designed to help you promote your business, make new connections, and strengthen your team.

Speaking of Taste of Dublin, this upscale community gathering brings a host of area restaurants and caterers together under one roof to share delicious samples of their specialty menu items. Held this year on October 4 at The Wendy's Company, I invite you to learn more about this event at DublinChamber. org/Taste23. I hope to see you there!

Fall is also a great time to think about personal and professional development. Join business professionals from some of the area’s top organizations for the Leadership Dublin Class of 2024 or the NextGen Dublin Young Professionals Leadership Academy Class. Both of these programs offer impactful experiences to capitalize on individual and team strengths while taking careers to the next level.

Finally, I also would like to express the appreciation of the Chamber Board of Directors, members and staff to Past President Scott Arthur, who led the Chamber for the past year. Thank you for your outstanding service, Scott!

I hope you will get involved in Dublin Chamber events and programs to extend the reach of your business. As always, the Chamber thanks you for your support.

Wishing you the best,

Looking for Ways to Get Engaged in the Community?

Leadership Dublin will keep you and your employees actively involved whether working remotely or serving on the frontline of your business, non-profit organization or government agency.

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for this eightmonth executive program which helps elevate the future leaders of industry and our community. Participants expand their knowledge of the Dublin area and connect with others looking to take their careers and organizations to the next level. They will learn to collaborate with a broad cross-section of aspiring leaders to develop solutions to challenges, which can then be applied to your organization.

Leadership Dublin connects participants to all facets of the Dublin community. Members of the class of 2024 will gain experience:

• Instruction in board stewardship and ethical decision-making,

• Access to behind-the-scenes looks at the governance of the City of Dublin, Washington Township and Dublin City Schools, featuring panel discussions with their leadership teams,

• Introductions to state, county and local elected officials,

• Participation in Community Service Day, and

• Immersion in small-group community projects.

The program begins October 11, 2023. Participants may be sponsored by their employer, or may register individually. To learn more, go to DublinChamber.org/ LeadershipDublin24 or call the Chamber at 614-889-2001.

Part of the Leadership Dublin experience includes participating in a team project. Leadership Dublin projects have a strong history of providing great ideas for organizations like the City's Bicycle Ambassadors, One Dublin, the Dublin Food Pantry, and Dublin Special Olympics. Today, Dublin is a better place to live and work because of the work done on these projects by Leadership Dublin alumni.
