Little Dukes Central Team
The Little Dukes central team is now in place, and working collaboratively to ensure all areas of Operations, Finance, Marketing, Admissions and HR/Recruitment are supported within each of our nursery brands. Regular reporting across all areas now allows us to manage FTE pipeline in line with costs and staffing, ensuring our settings can respond strategically to growth opportunities.
This year will see our first Little Dukes branded nurseries open, responding to high demand for quality early education and childcare with an industry-leading proposition for parents. A brand refresh will coincide with Little Dukes having a physical presence in key locations, as well as a bespoke early years curriculum which will be first of its kind within Dukes Education.
This exciting curriculum which is being formed by senior team members from within the Dukes Education family, focuses on: well-being, facilitating excellent opportunities for learning, parent partnerships, and utilising technology that supports each child’s developmental needs, alongside the EYFS - and will truly elevate our early years proposition.
There are currently 1,494 children in attendance across all Little Dukes nurseries as of January 2023, with an average booking pattern of 0.6FTE.
Ongoing investment into recruitment with the launch of a new ‘Careers at Little Dukes’ brand, and into our employee proposition and benefits offer, will further ensure our settings become employers of choice within their local communities and unlock additional capacity.
