Meet the
We are delighted to share details of the Dukes Champions initiative with you and hope you are as excited as us about the benefits that this can bring to the Dukes family. The Champions initiative began its pilot in 2020 and has grown at an extraordinary rate ever since.
One of the core benefits to being part of the Dukes family is our ability to collaborate, share and learn with other members of the family. This collaboration is driven and fostered by the Dukes Champions.
The Champions cover a wide range of areas including teaching specialities as well as others such as well-being, mindfulness, and operations-focussed areas.
WHAT DO THE CHAMPIONS DO?
Our champions support subject communities by facilitating innovation and learning.
The champions host termly TeachMeets that offer the opportunity to network by bringing the community together. During the TeachMeets, employees can share new thinking, establish best practice, share concerns, and solve problems together.
The champions also collate and curate resources and publish them in a dedicated folder on the Dukes Hub. The Dukes Hub is our online content and communication platform which enables us to share best practice and collaborate beyond face-to-face. It is the store of the best educational material and content across the Dukes family.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
You can get in touch with the Dukes champions by contacting them on their work email address. They will then add you to their contact list to ensure you don’t miss any top tips or networking opportunities.
Look out for upcoming TeachMeets and subject INSETS. Register on the Dukes Hub and check out the resources that have been shared.
Our champions welcome your contribution and collaboration – maybe share your top resource or best practice tips.
