have had inspections from Ofsted with the overwhelming majority being judged Outstanding or Good.

15 Schools

have been inspected by ISI and all judged to be 100% compliant to The Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014.

60 Visits

to raise awareness of the latest changes in regulations, live inspection support, policy reviews, site safety tours, review of maintenance systems, and analysis of attendance, admissions, behaviour, bullying and first aid data have been undertaken.

A significant number of schools have signed up to our SCR tracker dashboard improving the efficiency of remote auditing by central team colleagues.

New action planning proformas and guidance documents provided on the Dukes Hub to support colleagues further with raising awareness of what compliance is all about as well as new Executive summary reports from visits undertaken have provided timely updates to governors.

The further development of Dukes annual safeguarding audit processes with meetings at Waterloo Place has been received positively by senior leaders and provides a deeper insight and challenge for our school governors.

The rollout of our new automated dashboard compliance tracking system from a successful pilot stage will enhance the processes even further, to allow real-time access to information. (Compliance POD.)

Successful introduction of the in-house student immigration team. We appointed an external expert to assist in the establishment of the team and systems at the beginning of the calendar year and Lee Tattum was appointed as manager of this team from September.

The initial inspection of Cardiff Sixth Form Cambridge conducted by Ofsted and was successful and allowed us to open the college in August.

Termly safeguarding, SCR, Health & Safety and other compliance audits are conducted in colleges to help ensure standards.

A number of UKVI Licence audits have been conducted, which are now supported by Lee Tattum and the team.

The colleges’ annual safeguarding governor meetings are well established and have been in place for a number of years now. Each college has an annual safeguarding file audit and it is appraised by the safeguarding director and the college Principal.
