Arrival at Jorge Chavez Lima airport, meet and transfer to the hotel per respective category selected. Overnight in Lima. Day 2 Lima Afternoon excursion to Pachacamac Ruins, considered by many to be the most important archaeological site near Lima. Visit the Temple of the Sun, the Acllahuasi (House of the Virgins of the Sun), the Pilgrims’ Plaza and other palaces whose painstaking reconstruction gives visitors an idea of what the site looked like 500 years ago. (B) Day 3 Lima/Cusco/Sacred Valley/ Pisac and Ollantaytambo Transfer to the airport to take an early flight to Cusco. You will travel directly to the Sacred Valley of Urubamba, to better adjust to the altitude and to visit the Indian Pisac Market (Tue, Thu, Sun) and the Ollantaytambo Fortress. When the market does not take place you will tour the religious nucleus and archaeological site of Pisac. Lunch is included. Overnight in the Sacred Valley. (B,L) Day 4 Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu, overnight stay Travel by train along the Urubamba Valley to Aguas Calientes, and then up to the "Lost City of the Incas." You will visit the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the most famous and spectacular archeological sites on the continent. Lunch is included at the Orient Express’ Sanctuary Lodge. Overnight in Machu Picchu. (B,L) Day 5 Machu Picchu/Cusco Enjoy a free morning to explore one of the most incredible sights on earth, the ruins of Machu Picchu. Afternoon return to Cusco. (B)

Day 6 Cusco Afternoon city tour of Cusco. On our tour you’ll visit the Koricancha or “Temple of the Sun” – with its interior formerly lined with gold. Stroll and sightsee through the lively historic hub of the city, the Plaza de Armas and its magnificent Cathedral. The outskirts are equally fascinating with the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, temple of Kenko and Tambomachay, known as the “Baths of the Inca”. Evening dinner and folkloric show. Overnight in Cusco. (B,D) Day 7 Cusco/Lima Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Afternoon City Tour of Lima and Larco Museum. Farewell dinner is either at La Rosa Nautica or Casa Hacienda Moreyra; selection is based according to season. Any client who books a tour with Sunny Land Tours will be subject to the following terms and conditions, and a payment for Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, and/or Peru shall constitute a client's or his/ her travel agent's absolute consent to all provisions listed herewith: Reservations and Payments: A non-refundable $600 per person deposit is required at time of booking. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. In certain cases additional non-refundable deposits may be required to meet airlines' ticketing deadlines. For bookings during Christmas and New Year periods nonrefundable full payment required at the time of booking. Air Transportation: Round trip flights by Lan Airlines, AeroGal, Delta, or any IATA airline, which cannot be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft.
