STORYTIMES Baby and Toddler Storytime • Wednesdays at 10:15 am 20 minutes of simple stories & fingerplays for infants and toddlers from birth to 3 years. Storytime Stay and Play • Wednesdays • 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Stay after storytime for large motor and imaginative play provided by Duluth Parks and Recreation. For children ages birth to preschool. Preschool Storytime • Wednesdays at 11:15 am 30 minutes of stories, songs & fingerplays for ages 3 to 5. Storytime with Chione • Wednesday, January 15 • 10:00 am • Gold Room • Hear the story and learn the culture of Paka’a, a little boy living in Hawaii. Chione Woodwind Quintet will intertwine musical learning, storytelling, and American Sign Language. This event takes the place of regular storytime. Squad Car Storytime • Stories read by a Duluth police officer. Wednesdays, January 15 & January 29 • 3:45 pm • Youth Services Bayfront Story and Play • Saturday, January 25 • Storytime 3:30 pm • Open Skate 12:00 - 7:00 pm • Bayfront Park • Duluth Parks & Recreation will have skates and other snow equipment available for all ages. Storytime at 3:30 pm. Whatever your genre, Write On is the place for you to launch your next writing piece. Write On is a series of workshops designed for young writers, ages 10-18. R 4 - Learn to Code with Ozobots • 11:00 am • Green Room • Learn the basics of Ozobots and how to code them in this introductory course. For kids in grades 1-5 that have never used Ozobots before. R 4 - Ozobot Challenge • 1:30 pm • Green Room • Have you used Ozobots before? If you have, then this event is for you! You will be challenged to solve puzzles with your Ozobot. Receive oneon-one guidance from a History Day staff or mentor. Ask librarians for help. Find books and research.
