Summer Reading Program kickoff with the Duluth Huskies
Saturday, June 8 • 10:30-11:30 am • Wade Stadium (101 N 35th Ave W.)
Help us kick off a fun summer of reading with the Duluth Huskies at Wade Stadium. Players will be reading stories and signing autographs—remember to bring your favorite ball, glove, or book to get it signed! Kids and teens in attendance will receive a free youth ticket (while supplies last) to the Books & Baseball Game on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Special thanks to the Duluth Huskies for supporting Summer Reading!

Public Library annual Summer Book Sale!
Build your home library and contribute to a good cause at the same time! All proceeds go to support the Duluth Public Library in offering free events to the community. The four day sale takes place at the Main Library (520 W. Superior St.) on the Michigan St. level. This year, card processing will be available, in addition to cash and checks.

Start the morning with a storytime geared for kids ages birth to Kindergarten in the Gold Room from 10:15-10:45. You and your children will have fun while building essential early literacy skills through stories, songs, rhymes, and movement. Afterwards, head to the Green Room for open play (until 11:30 am) that builds both large and fine motor skills and helps get those wiggles out.
