WATERBASED COLOUR TINTS ON RESURFACING
The Dulux Avista Waterbased Colour Tints 400ml offer bright colours when mixed with the Resurfacing Base Compound.
Add required amount of clean potable water (3.2L - 3.6L) in a clean 20L bucket. Slowly add the 400ml Waterbased Colour tint, mixing at low speed until water colour is uniform. The total amount of liquid used should now total 3.6L to 4.0L (3.2L - 3.6 L of water + 400ml tint). The total amount of liquid used per 20KG resurfacing base compound bag should not exceed 4 Litres.
Slowly add Resurfacing Base Compound, mixing continuously. Once full content has been added, mix for a further 3 minutes.

What is your business name?
Our business is called Illawarra Resurfacing, based in Balgownie NSW. We specialize in resurfacing projects, providing high-quality services to enhance the appearance and functionality of various surfaces.
Which Dulux Avista products did you use?
For the Illawarra Aged Care Home project, we used several Dulux Avista products, including the Resurfacing Primer, Resurfacing Base Compound, and General Purpose Sealer. These products are essential for achieving a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Briefly describe your project.
In this particular project, we started by grinding the old stencil to prepare the surface. We then resurfaced and sealed the pathways, common areas, private areas, and speed humps. This comprehensive approach ensured a consistent and high-quality finish across all areas.
What is the total area you covered in square meters?
The total area we covered in this project was 1200 square meters.
How long did it take for you to complete the job?
The entire job took us two weeks to complete. This timeframe allowed us to ensure that each step of the process was done meticulously.
Did you use any special techniques or tips to help you?
One of the key techniques we used was to grind everything thoroughly. This step is crucial for preparing the surface and ensuring that the new layers adhere properly and last longer.
How long have you been using Dulux Avista products?
We have been using Dulux Avista products for over 25 years. In fact, we started using these products well before they were branded as Dulux Avista, which speaks to our long-standing trust in their quality and performance.
