Faughart Spring Clean this Saturday

F AUGHART Community Group together with Faughart National School Parents’ Association are organising their big road clean up this Saturday. This is a very successful event every year and both kids and parents do a great job of clearing the roadsides of a huge skip full of rubbish.

It is the only day of the year when all community members are asked to pitch in and do their bit even if it is only to clean in front of their house. Every effort helps, no matter how big or small.

The skip will be in O’ Donnell’s yard from 2 to 5pm this Saturday but people can start their clean up from Friday if they like. If you can’t get over to the skip then leave your rubbish bags along the roadside and someone will collect them for you. Anyone who wants more info or pickers and bags can call 086 087 9979.
