WELCOME
TREVOR BULLEN
Academic Dean, School of Design
KORRIN HOWARD
Associate Dean, School of Design
Each year we pause to reflect on our shared journey, take stock of the strides we’ve made, and celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates in the School of Design. Our students never fail to inspire with their creativity, passion, grit, and dedication. They remind us not only of how far they have come, but of how bright the future of our design professions is. This book is an expression of their immense talents and was designed entirely by our students under the guidance of our dedicated faculty. We are grateful for their efforts in bringing this project to life, as well as the continued support of our industry partners, Program Advisory Committees (PAC), and the Dunwoody College of Technology community.
The goal of this book is to showcase the work of our students and provide a glimpse into our vibrant and diverse learning community. It provides a snapshot of a moment in time and serves as an archive of our shared history. The book is structured into three parts, highlighting the work in each School of Design program: architecture, graphic design, and interior design. While each program has a distinct character and focus, they share a common underpinning grounded in a hands-on applied education coupled with real-world problem solving.
This publication accompanies our School of Design Expo; an annual celebration of a year-in-the-life of our school. It is an opportunity for our industry and community partners to engage with our students as they prepare to enter their professions. Employers consistently tell us that our graduates are technically competent, creative thinkers, ready and able to contribute on day one. We value our industry relationships and owe much of our success to the industry professionals who enrich our student experience by serving as studio reviewers, mentors, PAC members, and adjunct faculty.
On behalf of the faculty and staff of the School of Design, we would like to thank our students, colleagues, and industry partners, along with family and friends whose support has made this work possible. We hope that you will enjoy the work presented in the pages ahead and invite you to get involved, stay connected, and celebrate our graduates as they embark on their careers. It is with a sense of anticipation, excitement, and great pride that we bid farewell to the Class of 2024!

The Bachelor of Architecture program is accredited by NAAB (National Architectural Accrediting Board) and participating in IPAL (Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure) the program is structured to reduce barriers to the practice of architecture.
A degree from Dunwoody’s School of Design prepares students for careers in architecture, building design, and construction industries. Our distinctive position within a college of technology gives us access to collaborations
across a variety of technical disciplines. Our students work intimately with physical modeling and digital fabrication as they learn design technologies and industry standards.
Students understand and acquire a strong knowledge of building systems, codes, policies, documents, and integrated design techniques.
