Inclusiveness Inclusiveness, it’s one of Key Club’s core values. Inclusiveness, in my opinion, means to include others and get them involved. In Key Club, getting people involved may mean getting them into volunteering or going to our club meetings. As the 2016-17 term begins, one of the goals our Lieutenant Governor has for this term is to promote inclusiveness throughout Key Club and at our schools. Our Lieutenant Governor can not do this alone, so it is up to us to help our Lieutenant Governor and spread inclusiveness within our division and clubs. How will we help our Lieutenant Governor in Dougherty Valley Key Club? We have to include everyone. Ask your friends to join us at club meetings and service events. Hold a conversation with a Key Club member you don’t know at club meetings. There are tons of ways to include others. For example, Angela Del Rio, one of our Key Clubbers, has been apart of Key Club’s inclusiveness. She states that she has felt welcomed by the officers when she first joined Key Club. Just remember that you do not have to be an officer to include someone. All of us can be inclusive.
