An Angelic Voice Among Us

On July 8, 1984, God, in His infinite wisdom, decided to allow John Eric Brown, Sr., and Carmen Robinson Brown to birth an angel into existence. Cecilia Ashley Brown was born at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS. God's divine decision and the love and nurture of her parents would shape Ashley into an anointed vessel, anointed minister, and gospel recording artist. Ashley was "born' into her home church, Lighthouse Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. She was baptized in Jesus' Name and committed her life to Christ at an early age. Her love for music and song was evident as early as age 3 when she performed her first solo at her family church, " I'm a Child, but Still I Praise Your Name".

She attended and completed her education at Moss Point High School and afterward attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. There she made an impact in the area of Arts of Music with her distinct voice and style of singing. There she met a young man, Reginald C. Lawrence, who shared her love for music, especially the ministry of music.

On September 5, 2015, she was released by her parents who entrusted their baby girl (Boonie) to be united and become flesh with Regi, the love of her life. Ashley and Regi's love, respect, and affection for one another demonstrated how young people could live a life of Godly committed love. The Lawrence household became a peaceful haven for their core friends who call themselves...Family Matters.

For 15 years Ashley served as Minister of Music at the Lighthouse Church as Praise and Worship Leader of the Voices of Lighthouse (VOL). She was dedicated to her calling in the music ministry and definitely, "understood the assignment". Every time she ministered, she gave her all, whether at home or abroad.

Although Ashley considered herself a "little country girl" from Mississippimshe realized her upbringing prepared her for the journey ahead. Throughout her childhood and teen years. Ashley could be found singing and ministering all over the United States. Over time, Ashley began to travel with her father, Bishop J. Eric Brown, and Charity, which was the greatest dream in her Gospel Music career. This opportunity solidified her dreams and aspirations as she vowed to follow in her father's footsteps. She was featured on his album "After the Storm'', singing V. McKay's "Oh Jesus".Slowly but surely Ashley's dreams manifested. As an artist, she has been featured on numerous gospel projects with established artists including (but not limited to): Oscar Williams & Perfected Praise (lead vocalist: "Without Got and "Heal The Land), Hezekiah Walker and the Fellowship Choir (lead vocalist: "Amazing" and "WorkThings Out") Jeff Majors, and was scheduled to reappear on upcoming music projects by Vashawn Mitchell & Friends and Benjamin Cone IlI & Worship.

Her professional accolades include an appearance at the 2017 Stellar Awards performing her new single "I've Got The Victory". She was the recipient of the 2018 Lekeisha Cotton Gulf Coast Gospel Award of the Year and the recipient of both the 2018 Rhythm of Gospel Contemporary Song of the Year and the Rhythm of Gospel Song of the Year. She fulfilled her dream of being able to travel the world allowing music to become her permanent career.

Ashley, previously, signed with PE Inc. Records a division of Periscope Entertainment located in Jacksonville, FL, and is currently the flagship artist of CGB Records, her father's record label.

Sharing her personal journey of overcoming abuse and emphasizing the hope available in Christ became one of her life's missions.

Autumn tied the knot with her best friend, Eddie Miles, in 2004, and they're blessed with four wonderful kids: Grace, Jude, Moses, and Haven. Jennifer R. Biard is the Senior Pastor of Jackson Revival Center Church, a rapidly growing non-denominational, ethnically diverse congregation in Jackson, MS. DR. SANJA RICKETT STINSON

Dr. Sanja Rickette Stinson believes that at the heart of philanthropy lies resolute leadership encompassing vessels fastened to an unyielding mandate to serve others. Sanja currently serves as the founding CEO of Matthew House, a daytime supportive services center for the homeless, for over thirty years. In addition, Stinson is advocacy serving homeless individuals and other marginalized people, helping to organize local Continuum of Care, Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Response Group for Equity (CHHRE), CEO of Chicago, and others. Raised by entrepreneur parents Gus and Mary Rickette, she grew up profoundly respecting business and humanity. Dr. Stinson is a best-selling author, founder of Dr. Sanja Coaching & Consulting a CEO of EmpowerHer Ventures LLC.
