AI bred 10/20 to WS Revival B122 is the description of a front pasture cow.
If you go through my pasture you will notice that I collect up as many Driver females as possible, and here is proof why. If you like EPD’s this female is as good as you will find and still have such an impressive phenotype. As pleasant of a cow as you will ever be around and can stay in condition on a tumble weed. Her first bull calf sold for 6250 in Springer’s bull sale. Her second calf sold in last year’s sale for $9,500 and her third calf, a heifer, F532 sells as Lot 1A. We kept her open to flush this spring then bred her for a fall. I have enough eggs I am comfortable selling her to a good home. She sells with 3 IVF heifer embyro’s by a to be determined sire.
Power in the blood, just look at her picture perfect dam selling as Lot 1. Another show heifer that will be a money making cow for years to come. 532 was one of those calves, when she first stood up I knew she was destined to be a sale feature. Maternal sib bull sold for $6,250, full sib heifer sold for $9,500 and I will take those averages all day long. I will bet this heifers earning will add to any program. If numbers trip your trigger, she carries a 17 plus calving ease and negative 2.3 birthweight. Bar QH Simmentals

6 1.4 45 80 28 44.07 70.7 PE 4/17 till 6/20 to WS A Step Up Vet estimated due to calve mid March. I owe this cow a great deal of gratitude. She never misses, that simple. She came out of the great Bruhn program as a bred, I won’t mention what the gavel dropped at but Griswold’s were contending bidder. Her first heifer calf out of Driver is now in production and climbing the ladder to the Donor Pen. Her second heifer was sired by Step Up and has put two replacements in the lot. Her third heifer, D362, was our second high seller in 2016 and went on to be 9th overall at the Eastern Regional. Her fourth heifer, E239, commanded $4,500 and will be offered back as Lot 2A from a cooperator of ours. With daughters in our herd, I feel like we can let this female go in her prime to you to make a valuable asset. Foundation ASA #: 2860016.

This will get long… and slightly confusing, but read on. E239 is a daughter of 239 our Angus donor. This heifer was purchased last year through the sale, however her owner had a lack of pasture, so here she is. E239 is also a maternal sib to D362, who was our second top seller in 2016, and was 9th overall at the Eastern Regionals. D362 is sired by A Step Up, so it only made sense to breed her maternal sib out of Revival to A Step Up. Power in the flesh, power in the pedigree, straight up power cow! Owned with Don Hayes.

Observed Natural 5/11 to JBSF Gavel 9D PE 5/2 till 6/25 to Gavel C40, or Beauty, as she was called during her
show career, hit it out of the park this year with her heifer calf, E519 selling as Lot 3A. This female was shown twice, she was second in class to the champion percentage at the Illinois Beef Expo. She was selected the Champion Percentage female at the ISU Redbird Rumble. She has stunning profile, belly for days, and a picture perfect udder. If you are looking to make show heifers, this is your gal. Proof is in the pudding , just check out her heifer calf! Bar QH Simmentals
Elegant- adjective- “ Pleasingly graceful and stylish on appliance or manner.” Thanks google, that will work just fine! Big time show heifer here, just puts all the right things together and if that wasn’t enough, top it off with that beautiful hourglass baldy face. One of the judging teams that came through made the remark “that heifer is stupidly sound” I think there is a ton of potential here and her dam C40 is selling as Lot 3. I’ll end with a quote I have always liked “When your work speaks for itself, don’t interrupt”. Bar QH Simmentals

The fall heifer is a favorite of many. Moderate, good necked, big bellied, super stout yet looks great on the side profile. My biggest regret is not having a picture of her dam yet to show you what an absolutely beautiful cow she is. Don’t tell the wife, but as soon as she calves, I am flushing her. You will see more out of this cow family in the future, I promise. If you want to buy a female that can achieve a multitude of things throughout her life, I think this one is a safe bet. Her dam will be flushed this year as she is as front pasture as they come now proven yet again with 513 as the proof in the pudding. Like a broken record I will say again there is a ton of future here. Just admire everything about her. All of these heifers are unique in their own way but if a female like this can’t put dollars in your pocket down the road I haven’t seen one that can. Lastly, she is already proven on the tanbark being selected Reserve Division at the Illinois State Fair, she was a little too green yet but that is ok. If they are ready as a calf, they will be hard to keep fresh as a big heifer. Take the reigns and charge on with this one!

0.5 62.1 82.3 17.1 141.2 72.8 F504’s dam “Scarlett” is a gorgeous red baldy Driver daughter that we purchased as an open from our friends and neighbors, the Frost family. Up to this point she has had bulls but 504 has proven worth the wait. This past breeding season, as I was choosing this Uno Mas mating, I thought to myself, boy I’d love to get a red one. I guess the good Lord was listening that day. Long, correct, and even though her picture doesn’t show it, beautifully fronted. The phrase “this one will make cow” I feel is overused, but in this scenario fits the bill. Should you choose to show her, walk into a ring of black ones and if you don’t get some extra looks I’m guessing the judge needs new spectacles. One last thing, “Scarlett O’Hair” as my wife nicknamed her, is her barn sweetheart of the year, so if you have a junior wanting to get in on a good one, bid early and bid often!

Predictability year in and year out is what 503’s mother gives me every year. She is a full sib to last year’s lot 6 heifer that fetched 11,250. This gal is a little greener, but the quality is certainly there. She’s extremely long, square hipped, long necked and her tail head sits in just perfect. Same as last year, great disposition. Her young dam originated from the great Walsh program and continues to earn her keep. Bar QH Simmentals

13.4 1.1 67.9 95.6 18.3 118.1 67.9 This little May heifer will be a force to be reckoned with next summer. She is so smooth sided, so so feminine up through her front third. Just like her full sister Lot 1 in last years sale who commanded $13,500, she is very sound and yet soft in her appearance. This is her dam’s second calf and she has hit it out of the park twice. In my opinion Pilgrims are just like Drivers as cows, tough to beat in quality and consistency. Not only will this heifer compete at any level, but go on to be a maternal powerhouse for her new owner as well. Its hard to part with great ones, but I look forward to staying in touch with this lucky bidder!
10.7 1.6 66.1 93.2 20.4 110.8 65.2 We were a little light on opens so we went into the replacement lot to see who stood out. Immediately after walking in the pen, we both said “Who is that?” Turns out F559 made her way into the show barn that day. She hasn’t been on feed as long as others but don’t let that fool you. This heifer has future with her best days next summer. Her dam as a first calf heifer is beautiful and what an udder, not to mention she bred back 40 days post. Study her picture and imagine what 60 more days will do. Good hipped, deep enough, and how that long neck ties into the point of her shoulder. Mark my words this will be the sleeper of the sale.

Don’t get me wrong she carries it well, but I have heard bulls snort and ask her if she has fries with that shake. Ok ok you get it but all bull aside this gal is a powerhouse. If you like those little skinny things move on. I’m talking muscle, mass, dimension, rib, hip, on and on pure power in moderate package. Sweet sweet fronted for what is following behind. I don’t follow the steer game but if you want a purebred to breed clubby for some big time steers if she can’t do it no one can. Gosh I get tired of those baldies, said no one ever. Beautiful female here, another destined for the sale since birth. Her dam is quite possibly one of the prettiest on the farm, and I love her pedigree. Perfect silhouette, ties into that tailhead perfectly, perfect amount of bone and the Revival front end. There’s always one that the picture doesn’t do justice and this year its 506. Come see her in person, I’m extremely proud of each and every one of these opens. Bar QH Simmentals

Out of a first calf heifer that is sired by “herdbull” and if you have followed this sale the past couple years, you have seen the cattle he has made. AI bred 4/7 to Silveiras Style You will be hard pressed to find an Angus
female with this much power and mass. The Barbara cow family put the Anderson family on the map because of their maternal ability and a shot of First N Goal only makes this one more intriguing. Bred to calve early to Style she will be one to keep your eye on sale day whether you want her to make Angus or the ever popular half blood Simmentals this is a female that can do either exceptionally well. Adcock Land & Livestock
AI bred 4/4 to Outlaw (2901765) The last Nicolette X Style to sell, we probably
should have kept this one for ourselves but we are committed to selling our best every year. Full sister topped our online sale last year and went on to be Reserve Champion female at the IL State Fair for Bar QH. Very rarely is there a bred heifer selling with this little guess work so bid early and often on one of the last opportunities to get an original Nicolette female at public auction. excelled at everything; show heifers, replacements, herd sires, even top end feeders. You really have to appreciate the mass and power this female possesses and still moves out so free and easy. Frost Farms

Due 2/14/19 to GCC Gold Standard It’s pretty hard to beat a sharp made baldy,
especially when they are this good and a PB to boot! This moderate framed, wide hipped female by Fat Butt is the type I wish I had a whole herd of. Correct off her feet and legs, and carries her powerful build all the way up her top. Buy with confidence. Blackford Club Calves
Due 4/10/19 to W/C Lock Down An eye-catching daughter of Supremacy

Due 3/1/19 to CCR Cowboy Cut Due 2/25/19 to GCC Gold Standard This Upgrade daughter is something special, A whole herd of females like 757E would

AI bred 3/26 to WS Revival Top end bred here. The Step Up daughters
have excellent dispositions, yet have great mothering instincts. I expect this heifer to have a beautiful udder, milk and breed back. I have enough Step Up daughters running around I don’t need a number to tell me that. If you look through the open heifers you will notice that the Revival x Step Up mating really works. Bar QH Simmentals
AI bred 3/31 to CMFM Crossroads I bought this redhead off the Foundation Fe-

When I saw Crossroads at Louisville I really liked him- then he walked out with a banner, so I haven’t lost my touch. This mating should work. Bar QH Simmentals

AI bred 3/26 to JBSF Logic AI bred 3/26 to WS Revival If your looking for consistency in a cow fam Facebook, yes Facebook. There I was scroll-
ing through and I see this beautiful baldy open and I had to have her. When you host a sale I feel like you should give it your all, and that is why this female is hitting the sale block. She has not been pampered in a barn, but when you study this heifer its hard to pick a hole. This is the one that will produce a show heifer in my mind, plain and simple. Uno Mas x Step Up bred to Revival for a January calf. I feel like the guess work is done, and good luck on your show season with her calf! Bar QH Simmentals
ily give this one some stars. Absolute cow power. Length of body, muscle, and I will put it this way, if you are looking for something small and prettymove on! Her maternal sib D307 was our high seller in 2016. Another maternal sib we are keeping this year because our kids are in love with her. Another noteworthy point is that this is one of the first Logic calves to hit the ground and I would argue all day long that JBSF Logic is the best Relentless son to date. Bar QH Simmentals

Due 2/25/19 to GCC Gold Standard This ground sow of a female exudes skeletal
width and added structural correctness. I really like her wide set pins, added length of spine, and depth to her forerib. She sells bred up early to Gold Standard for a quick return on investment. Blackford Club Calves

PE 4/27 till 6/20 to JBSF Road Trip 213D Observed natural service on 5/3/18 A027 has been a stand out since I laid eyes on her as an open in North Dakota. She has produced three outstanding Renowned daughters, two have been feature breds, the other is in production for me. Her most recent sired by Revival is the best yet, so I have decided to keep her as a cow. When we purchased Road Trip I knew immediately we were going to flush A027, especially since Road Trip is Hetero we would likely get a red heifer. With two daughters in the herd, some eggs in the tank and pregnancies on the way, I decided we could let her go. She has a western pedigree you could go multiple ways with it and very good numbered. I am not going to remark on phenotype, just come see her for yourself in person!
PE 4/17 till 6/9 to JBSF Road Trip 213D Observed natural service 4/25/18 She is a red beauty that doesn’t miss! Road
Trip is a Hetero Black, so quite likely she will lay down and have a good red one. There is not a whole lot I need to write just check out her daughter E226 selling as Lot 13. Bar QH Simmentals

PE 4/17 till 6/9 to JBSF Gavel 9D AI bred 4/19 to JBSF Road Trip Hfr Sexed Vet estimated for late January calving Our herdsman purchased this one as a top This is a female that is as right for the times bred in 2016 and after keeping a daughter is offering
as I could offer. Moderate, huge belly, good necked, sound as a cat. She weaned off a 615 pound Revival bull that i never should have cut, but there is no room for bull calves here. C263 is a female that can flat get it done. Picture perfect udder and held her condition while raising that big calf. Bar QH Simmentals
her back. This female is long and feminine, goose necked and deep bellied. Her Road Trip heifer will be destined for the show ring. Eric Lee
