India’s Golden Triangle ITINERARY DAY 1
Your arrival in Delhi coincides with settling in to the Radisson Blu hotel for your first night.
DAY 3 After breakfast is taken care of, you will travel to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Hotel Mansingh, you will have the rest of the day for leisure either in the hotel or in the surrounding area after guidance from the hotel staff.
DAY 2
You will embark on a guided tour of both Old and New Delhi. Starting in Old Delhi you will drive past the magnificent Red Fort, enjoy a rickshaw ride in the by-lanes of Chandini Chowk, and take in the historic Kotla Firoze Shah before finally visiting Raj Ghat. In the afternoon, you’ll move onto New Delhi and take in the Presidential Palace, the Rashtrapati, the Rajpath, India Gate and the Qutub Minar before returning to the hotel.
DAY 4 You will take half-day trip to the Amber Fort, stopping at Hawa Mahal – the Palace of Winds – en route. In the afternoon, you will be taken on a tour of Jaipur, taking in the Observatory and City Palace along the way Dinner and Overnight on board.
DAY 5 The city is your oyster with this leisure day, on which there is a vehicle and driver provided for you. DAY 6 Day six begins with travelling to Agra, visiting the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikiri on the way. This amazing site was built in 1569 by Emperor Akbar the Great before he abandoned it just 14 years later – thus creating the name it is now known by. You will arrive at the Howard Plaza hotel in Agra by the evening.
DAY 7 Your last full day in India will feature the country’s most popular attraction with a visit to the Taj Mahal, as part of a larger tour of Agra. The tour also includes a visit to the Agra Fort and other spots around the city. After the completion of the tour, you will depart for Delhi and spend the night in the Red Fox Hotel near the airport DAY 8 A final breakfast in the hotel before you make the short journey to the airport before catching your flight home.
