This class will be a fun way for kids to practice cutting, gluing and tracing their names. Students will use their names to practice repetition, fine motor skills, concentration, and determination. Under the Sea! Slammin’ Jammin’ Music Lessons
Whether you are brand new to guitar, violin, fiddle, or need to build on the basics that you have already been taught, instructors John Shepherd or Bill Thurman will supply you with the tools you need to improve and play like a star! 8 lessons will cover hand techniques, reading music, chording, etc., while working one on one with an experienced music instructor. How Many Colors Are In a Rainbow?
Little budding artists will learn all about primary colors and how to mix basic colors to get the spectrum of colors found in the rainbow. Campers will experiment with a variety of art mediums that include tempera paints, watercolors, finger paints, colored markers, and crayons. Campers everywhere are fascinated with Dr. Seuss’s wild, quirky, outof-this-world stories. If your camper loves Dr. Seuss, then this class is for them. They are sure to have lots of fun making their own whacky art and whimsical craft projects based on the colorful world of Dr. Seuss stories, characters and story lines. Kids on Campus Time for a Fiesta!
Cissy Smith will show campers how to throw a great fiesta! Each camper will learn about the Spanish culture and the significance of the piñata. Throughout the week, campers will make their own unique, fun piñata! At the end of camp, there will be one big fiesta! Creative Writing
Students will learn the basic elements of story creation and put their inspirations on paper in this class taught by Brycial Williams. Children will gain confidence in a fun, non-judgmental environment where everyone supports each other’s ideas. Home writing is suggested but not required. The goal is to ignite the creative spark by temporarily casting off rigid academic requirements. Adventure Camp
Climb outside of your comfort zone and hang out at the EACC Adventure Training Center. By taking on our state-of-the-art outdoor challenge course, you will learn that taking risks, both mentally and physically, is key to achieving your goals. You will also strengthen your communication and problem solving skills while having the experience of a lifetime! Once Upon a Time….
Tiny Town
Come help build Tiny Town! Campers will create a town out of using their imaginations with cardboard, paper, plastics, and anything that will help build a town all while learning the concepts of laws, creating jobs, electing a mayor, and even maintaining a household. Campers will learn the importance of how to keep a town running and what all it takes to make it happen as elected officials and community members. Exploring Stories by Eric Carle
Campers will jump right in with their imaginations as they read different stories from Eric Carle’s famous storybook. One can only imagine what fun and exciting experiments will take place with The Grouchy Lady Bug, The Very Lonely Firefly, The Tiny Seed, Walter the Baker, and so much more. Junior Golf Camp
Join golf pro, Seth Jenkins, at The Ridges of Village Creek to learn the fundamentals of golf. Campers will work on gripping, swinging, chipping, and putting in a fun and positive environment. This camp is designed for beginning and intermediate players wanting to learn the techniques, as well as the rules of golf. If you have clubs, bring them. Princess Tea Time
You are invited to join the magnificent fun and learn to act like a princess. Learn to be kind and gracious from Cinderella. Snow White will teach you great table manners. Campers will use their colorful imaginations to create beautiful sun catchers, sand paintings, and sandcastles that will capture their unique personalities. They will be using sand, paint, yarn, and some recyclable materials to create treasured keepsakes. Welcome Summer Campers!! Congratulations to all of the area students that were recommended by their teachers for EACC’S 36th annual Summer Enrichment Camp during the week of July 15th - 18th. Students will be able to let their imaginations soar with this year’s theme Journey Around the World! Approximately 100 students will create artifacts that are related to the different cultures, while they learn geography skills and are exposed to different cultures. The annual camp will nurture a love for exploration and a sense of respect and empathy for other ways of life. Summer Enrichment Camp is an annual 4-day program designed to provide fun and challenging enrichment for academic achievers entering grades 2nd - 6th.
Children’s Theatre Camp
Join Compass Creative Dramatics and make plans to be a part of EACC’s 10th annual Children’s Theater Camp. Stretch your creativity and bravery muscles through daily rehearsals for The Jumping Jacks & the Beanstalk. Once casting is complete, you will become involved with comedy, acting, singing and dancing, as well as staging, scenery design and development. The camp program culminates in a dress rehearsal and a public performance on Friday, July 26th at 6:00 p.m. Children must be available to rehearse for the entire week between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Monday - Friday, July 22nd - 26th 9:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Friday, July 26th 5:00 p.m. until performance is over Performance is Friday, July 26th @ 6:00 p.m. *Exact rehearsal times will vary based on casting* Entering Grades 1st - 12th Fee: $69 EACC Fine Arts Center
DINO-MITE!
Campers will enjoy creating clay and paper sculptures, as well as a variety of other fun art projects and activities. This class will introduce little artists to the mysterious world of dinosaurs and their habitats using stenciling, stamping, collage, and other techniques. Play with Clay Pottery Camp
Create your own one-of-a-kind pieces! Using state of the art equipment, you will create and take home masterpieces with the help of experienced artist and teacher, Mimi Cooper. Zumba joins high energy movements with dance combinations to achieve a full body workout. Zumba helps tone, sculpt, and burn fat while blending exercises such as squats, knee lifts, and bicep curls. The first half of the class is geared toward cardiovascular improvement. The second half of the class is weightlifting with small dumbbells. Students will work all major muscle groups including legs, chest, back, shoulders, and arms with increasing amounts of resistance. Students will also cover the basics of nutrition. Digital Photography (BUS 1191 C1)
Do you want to explore the world of digital photos? Come join Lisa Hixon as she teaches this slower-paced class, designed for students new to digital photography. Participants will take digital photos and learn the proper way to save and email these digital images on the computer. Digital cameras will be provided if students do not have their own. Applied Piano (MUS 1031 C1)
This class is a private instruction class. It typically meets one-half hour or one hour per week. All applied class instruction courses require five hours of practice per week for every half-hour of individual instruction. Lab fee is $25 for one-half hour per week and $50 for a one-hour per week. Personal Interest/ Senior Sage Eastern Arkansas Literacy The Eastern Arkansas Literacy Project’s mission is to provide high-quality, private, and confidential tutoring services to adults in an effort to improve their basic reading and writing skills. Classes are also provided for students who want to develop their speaking, writing, and reading skills in English. The Literacy program at EACC serves clients in St. Francis, Cross, and Lee counties.
Interested in Becoming a Literacy Tutor? Become a volunteer literacy tutor and teach an adult to read, write, or speak English. No foreign language skills are necessary. Training for tutors is available.

Adventure Training Center
The Adventure Training Center provides the ultimate training experience for building a successful team and improving self confidence. Participants will strengthen their communication and problem solving skills while developing their leadership potential. Professional Development Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs
Summer Manufacturing Camp This one week summer camp will introduce students to the fascinating, high-tech career choices available to them in today’s advanced manufacturing industry. This camp allows students to make something with their own hands, sparking their imagination and encouraging them to consider a career in manufacturing. Monday - Friday, July 15th - 19th Ages 14 -16 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Fee: $65
Healthcare Provider CPR
The Healthcare Provider course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). This course is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, system of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This course is designed to provide hands-on skills in oxy-acetylene welding, cutting and brazing, basic welding, and safety necessary in the maintenance and repair of production equipment. PALS uses a series of stimulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. Registration
Classes are filled on a first-come first-serve basis, and early registration is encouraged. Please note that fees are due upon registration to reserve a space in a class. A student is not officially enrolled in a class until payment is received.
Cancellation Policy
A 100% refund is given when a course is cancelled by the College. EACC reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. Refund checks are usually mailed within two to three weeks.

A transferable voucher may be given for the amount of the class if a student cancels 48 hours prior to the start of the class. *Excludes Summer Enrichment Camp*
