He eventually bought the restaurant in 2014, which is when his brother Maninder came to work at the restaurant, after working as a chef in Lisbon. This is where the pizza, pasta, and eventually kebabs made it onto the menu. Currently there is a selection of 125 dishes on the Indian menu, and 36 on the alternative menu. The restaurant now has an authentic pizza oven, kebab grill and a coal-fired tandoor for the freshly baked naan bread. Restaurant Typical is located close to the river in the very heart of Tavira, overlooking the bandstand and close to the new bridge. A great place to enjoy a light lunch or an evening meal, you'll be spoilt for choice. See 'Typical, Indian Restaurant, Tavira' on Facebook.

Guest Mar is located in the historic area of the city of Olhão. The building is from the XIX century and it was a gift from a fish canning businessman to his daughter. The building was carefully renovated to become a guesthouse, keeping the original architecture; the two cupolas, at 3 foot 10 high, an imposing central staircase, the original and elegant façade with the restored enchanting entrance door as well as the interior doors. The privileged Guest Mar’s location provides an authentic local atmosphere and a memorable experience to all its visitors. Located in one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Olhão, just 5 minutes walk from the market, the Marina, the traditional restaurants and bars. The Ferry boat to the islands of Armona, Culatra, Farol and Deserta is also just a short walk away. It is the sea and fishing that motivates the detailed decoration of the guest house. The Guest Mar has 8 rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning cable TV and free wi-fi. The fully equipped kitchen is a common area where breakfast is served with fresh local produce. You can also take advantage of the quiet reading area and the stunning roof terrace where you can enjoy the “Ria Formosa” and the countless rooftops of the city.
