Surrounded by ancient oaks, longleaf pines and a block of native wetlands, the farm has an idyllic setting that embraces the ¨old florida¨ feel, while only a 15 minute drive from historic downtown St. Augustine. A family run farm by Katie and her husband Joey Versaggi, located in St. Johns County, Florida specializing in vegetables, honey and flowers. The farm grows a wide variety of vegetables, notably leafy greens, head lettuces and specialty salad mixes, teaming up with Bee Hill Blooms where they offer a selection of seasonal hand-picked fresh flowers. They start planting in the cooler months of Fall, and usually have their first harvest sometime between Halloween and Thanksgiving, and will typically continue growing throughout Spring. With over 100 hives scattered throughout St. Johns County, their hives provide a variety of seasonal honey and Bee byproducts available at local shops and farmers market as well as on-line.
