You’ll learn plenty at EKU. But being a Colonel is about more than that. Between classes, you’ll find a vibrant, welcoming community with opportunities to connect with others, have fun and be active.

GET INVOLVED Here are just a few things to do, all within walking distance of your residence hall: • Join in fun activities offered by Student Life, including bingo, trivia and other events • Go to films, plays, lectures, concerts and street fairs • Cheer on the Colonels athletic teams • Go on whitewater rafting, camping and hiking adventures or service projects • Hang out with your friends on EKU’s beautiful campus, including ample outdoor spaces • Meet leaders in your field through departmental and pre-professional groups and activities • Become a member of EKU’s Student Government Association and be part of the voice for all EKU students • Work out at our new Recreation and Wellness Center • Watch a show at the EKU Center for the Arts

One of EKU’s best traditions, the Big E Welcome includes several days of programs, games, learning sessions and social gatherings.

A variety of student organizations include club and intramural sports, fraternities and sororities, and interest-based groups.

GLOBAL At EKU, you have access to a variety of study-abroad locations around the world. Your fellow students come from all 50 states and 52 countries.

MODERN Campus amenities include new suite-style residence halls, and renovated dining hall and student center.
