“Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons.” - Jim Bishop
Welcome to autumn! 2024 is well and truly established, and it is time to explore some of the great programs and events we have planned for autumn. We have a rich collection of authors coming to take us behind the pages of their books, including voices from those who have just published their first book, as well as the return of firm favourites like Heather Morris, Tony Birch, Karen Viggers and Kate Mildenhall. For history buffs, we have a range of talks from subjects and places far away, to those in our own backyard, including prisoners of war in Rowville, the historic buildings of Knox, and the transformation of Healesville. For those who are looking at their own family history, we are offering one-on-one assistance with family and local history research at all locations this year. As always, there is art and craft, food and music, as well as new skills to learn and fun times to share. We look forward to seeing you - and don’t forget to come and visit us in the new library at Knox! Sarah Hopkins Corporate Manager Customer Experience
