Home of Birth NativityHub at Union 105 Were you born at home in Chapeltown? Did you have your child or children at home? Homebirth was once the norm and pretty much every home would have witnessed a birth at some point. Although hospital birthing is now more common, some babies are born at home and artist, photographer and Midwife Claire Harbottle would love to hear from you about them.
Home of Birth will be a series of photographs of the outside of the homes where babies are known to have been born. You do not have to live there anymore. Images will be shown as part of an exhibition on the theme of pregnancy and birth in Spring 2016.
