The course will focus on different fabric dying techniques, such as tie-dye and batik, with an aim to create pieces for the home such as wall hangings and cushion covers.
Chapters at Feel Good Factor As part of our Community Learning project Chapters: A Life in Leeds we are running a course in fabric dying in collaboration with Feel Good Factor in Chapeltown. The course is aimed at adults with an interest in confidence building and wellbeing and is suited to those who are new to arts and crafts or those who have had some previous experience
Course dates: 1st - 4th July 2014 9.30am - 4.30pm Fee information: Free – If you are in receipt of benefits or declare a health related issue. £10.80 – If you are in receipt of a state pension. £41.40 – Full course fee. Fabric
Batik is a dyeing method using wax to create patterns and designs on fabric.
