with a GRADUATE DEGREE Many of our graduates continue their education in our Master of Accountancy (M.Acc) program, with audit, tax, controllership, and generalist concentrations. A 33-hour graduate program, the M.Acc meets educational requirements for certification as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Certified Internal Auditor.
Local Connections + Accounting Networking Night > An annual recruiting event connecting students and employers. Nearly 20 accounting firms and corporations come to campus each fall to interact with ETSU Accountancy students and discuss internships and job opportunities. + Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program > An opportunity to serve the community. Accounting majors who have passed a tax class and completed IRS training for the program provide income tax assistance to lower income taxpayers. + Beta Alpha Psi > An honorary organization for outstanding Accountancy students and professionals. Students benefit from opportunities for professional development, service, and association among members.
CAREER SERVICES The College of Business and Technology provides a Career Services Office specifically for business and technology majors. Career coaching, resources, and networking opportunities with employers are available, so students can graduate career-ready for a competitive marketplace.
