EBC — HEALTH AND SAFETY

Health and safety

We’re all about safety

Certification and regulation

For everyone at EBC, safety is fundamental. In all our decisions and working methods, workplace health and safety and the well-being of our teams are absolute priorities.

Because we work and do business all across the country, it’s extremely important that we follow the laws and regulations in each province where we’re active. We also uphold the requirements of numerous certifications, including the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations’ Certificate of Recognition.

Proven safety measures Our experts oversee the implementation and application of administrative measures and effective processes that keep the people working on our projects safe. We deploy programs and take action on prevention at every level of the company: — I nternal Health and Safety Leadership Structure (SL2S) — Pre-project risk analysis — IT safety management system — Custom training as needed — Working methods that are discussed and established with our workers on the ground

Prevention We believe that every accident is avoidable. That’s why we’re laser-focused on prevention. We run a detailed risk analysis before every project and establish specific measures for each worksite. We don’t just aim to identify what can be avoided, but to understand how it can be achieved. Every action counts. The safety of our people depends on it, and that’s enough to make it our number one focus.

— Recognition program

At EBC, the rule is clear: We’re all about safety.
