October 21, 2016 • St. Paul, MN The 2016 White Satin On Ice Embryo Auction was held Friday evening October 21st at the Miracle of Birth Center at the MN State Fairgrounds. The event is a favorite of many who attend the MN Beef Expo and frozen genetics from some of the finest breeders in the upper Midwest are highlighted. The 2016 MN Beef Expo has once again broke past attendance and cattle entry records. The Expo is a fabulous four day event that includes beneficial activities like educational workshops, knowledge bowl contest, fitting contest, judging contest, showmanship, all breeds sale and show, White Satin Embryo Sale, and MYBEP (MN Youth Beef Experience Program). This exceptional program once again awarded heifers to 11 deserving applicants from MN, SD and WI. Over 860 head of cattle where shown by the youth attending the event. The 14th Annual All Breeds Sale is sponsored by Lanesboro Sales Commission and Show Rite Feeds. The Supreme Row is sponsored by MN Farm Guide-Lee AgriMedia Group along with Purina Animal Nutrition LLC, Rabo AgriFinance and Optimizer Calf Gel.
