In this edition we present you Circomat’s very first program of circular remountable partition walls. There’s no interior defining element more temporary than a partition wall, as it is not a part of the structural elements of a building. Therefore it’s an ideal component to start our journey exploring the circular economy. We offer our clients the possibility to buy, rent or lease our circular building components. In doing so we want to evolve from a supplier into a service driven material banker!

We all know the standard partition wall made of throw-away metal studs with some filling and a gypsum board cladding.
The Juunoo stud frames are not only extendable in height (190-330cm or 300500cm). You can also add length or make openings for doors or windows very easily. What makes these profiles circular is that you can keep on using the same studs in different constellations or settings. No need to cut them, no need to throw them away. Just tension them between floor and ceiling, fill them up with insulation and start cladding.The cladding is fixed with screws, magnets or velcro-strips depending on the material.
We deliver 3 types of frames : the start-stop C-profile (2-32cm), the I-profile (60cm) for horizontal or slanted ceilings or floors and the D-profile for any doorwidth (70-105cm). If you like, we provide the studs with velcro on them or you do it yourself.
Juunoo studs are acknowlegded as the strongest, most sound-blocking and fastest installed metal studs on the market. Made of recycled steel and taken into mass production as we write it. Tested and approved by worldleading gypsumboard brands it will become a world standard. The manufacturer offers a buy-back option and we as your dealer will too. In the very worst case and after it has suffered too much, the metal can be reused for new studs.

We strive to stay away from the commonmarket cladding because our goal is to serve you, And we feel responsable. They must live up to your technical requirements as to your desire of look & feel.
The essence is ecological, healthy, durable and circular! But the form is endless: wood particle boards with nada emissions, mycelium boards, cork, textiles on frames (printed or not), 100% plant based boards and even bio-gypsum boards... Totally different or almost the same : your choice!
The level of design for change of Circowall Stud is outstanding as tested by the VUB Retrofit lab.
The 3-4 different layers of Stud make it very manageable in transport and very easy to recover parts for a next life.
Because of their prefabrication, layers can be installed with speed and simple tools. If you can stand modularity, they will even become more reversable and independent to other parts of the same wall. But you don’t have to : we also offer seamless solutions and seams you don’t see.
The Stud is a joy for carpenters or other craftsmen who need to connect to it. Small ventilation and tubing can be built in to ensure sane and healthy subrooms.
We only use proven circular layers preferably natural which can add the value you desire, be it functional or esthetical. Your health and our responsability to our clients and the world comes first. After all we care!

The mod is a rectangular ingenious piece of wooden frame designed to serve multiple functions. We present it as a partition wall but it can either be the structure for your future desk or maybe you will make a closet out of it and give it a second life. Or more...
Let your imagination and your evolution take you because this module of 50 by 50cm is amazing! A kid can work it, that simple. Only some bolds and a screwing machine are needed. One of the reasons it scores high on many levels of design for change.
It’s all wood but can be reinforced if you rocket the sky with it. Being very transportable, carryable and lightweighted, Mod is the perfect wall to move with one of our cargobike-trailers.
We prefer to keep the highest level of modularity so we dress them with modular panels of 50 by 50 cm. But you can use panels that are any multiple of 50cm.We forsee the hooks and spacing that you use to hang them up at the rack. No further mechanical fastening, no glue, no magnets, no tricks in pockets!
We provide tough, very user- and maintenancefriendly 100% biobased panels, homogen or split carrier-finishing, which can be a tile for hanging up to a mod but also a table top or a side table. So even the panels can shift utility.
Mod is excellent for your temporary event, exhibition or shop window. So for the renting and leasing formulas we offer, a Great Wall! But maybe you just want to buy it because you see the multiple functions it can serve. It can grow with your kids and take on different forms and personalities. They might even take over the creativity! Just keep changing! The more, the cheaper it gets, the more you save!
Useable in any position, this frame in plywood 50cm/50cm can serve many goals as a basic structure. Be it a table or a wall, or whatever you can create with it.
Special versions out of recup wood, for outside use and fireproof installations.
The adjustable version (50-96cm) makes the gaps complete so your table doesn’t have to be exactly 50cm or 100cm high. Walls can be perfectly closed no matter what their dimensions are with this fillup.

URBAN MINED clay-sand-gravels get molded and pressed into beautiful energizing bricks
When underground parkinglots or buildings are planted into the city’s soil, the excavated grounds are usually deported and used for landfilling elsewhere. Together with BC-Architects and Studies Circomat wants to give a second life to these gravels, sands and clays to avoid needless transportation. BC-Brickette and BC-Kastar for instance are 2 products made of urban mined natural materials. With minimal extra input of energy these resources are turned into beautiful materials to make earthen walls and floors in brick or rammed earth versions The production is usually on or near building site.
But can a brick wall on itself be circular? Ofcourse! You can just staple the bricks or use a clay-mortar. A tick on a claybrick will loosen all mortar and even this mortar can be reused as long as you add some water to it. Nothing is lost! And if the stabilised bricks would get damaged after reinstallment, just plaster them with a clay coat and they will survice another life as a circular wall. This is all natural! Nothing is spilled.
By leaning so close to the common baked brick, this stone is supercompatible with our common building products on the existing market.
Although quite manageable, the Brickettes are quite heavy, so good for soundproofing and moistregulating needs. Exacltly why we used it in our own city-showroom under the railways. Their (claymortar is easily cut out) is relative but assured as long as you know what is bearing the wall.
But can bricklaying be circular? Yes! As long as you clay-mortar. And even the mortar is circular : just add water and it will do its work again and again and again. Making Circowall Mud astonishly reversable!
Ever wondered why this actually is an ancient technique? We just use citygrounds that are digged out anyway. So avoiding useless transport of resources and re-using the natural materials the city provides us with.

Urban mined by DC ROTOR out of an office building in Brussels, barely used, saved for a second or more lifes. Circomat offers these glass elements for sale and lease options.
They come in several heights and widths, check the availablity on Rotordc. com and The Circomat Mates will install them for you in your dwelling or office. We offer special cornerpieces for the JB 2000 as well as standards and other accessories. Although the stock is big, we are limited in combinations or choice of elements as far as we dug the mine.
Since Beddeleem panels are still being produced the basic structure elements are still available if needed.
We used a couple of the framed doors in our own showroom in BOHO.

A cabin in the Alps. A Carribean lodge. Circowall Wood can bring you there and to any place where wood makes the warmth and feel of natural materials we so desperately need.
This straight log might look simple but it’s been worked by Systimber as a stable beam 7.8cm by 15cm and 260 cm of standard length.
It’s produced by combining smaller pieces of epicea wood. A very sharp cutting machine gave it a double tongue and groove on the long sides.
Now the new thing is you don’t staple the logs... Just position them upright and use The Circoconnectors to concanate the beams to each other.
We drilled holes in every beam/log on different heights. In this holes you place the Connectors and it only takes a simple screwdriver machine to attach teh beams together.
That’s t! Plain and simple. In fact it might be the most simple circular partition wall we can offer.
Just expect moodinfluencing coziness, hygge and a partition that will just divide the room. No more, no less.
(Don’t forget to make a corner to make it stand on itself)
Ceiling-high position is possible, but we see this wall more as a divider in a big room or as a shopwindow-background or changing or privacy booths. Just cut the beams and connect the smaller lengths to create window-openings or doors. Also eligable for bearing mezzanines.
