And you will more than get your money's worth from your £5 entry. The renowned Janice Anne Wilson School of Dancing, Jack Stark and Dance will all be performing for your entertainment. Also returning, for the second year running, is Lauren Kyle, who has a CV second to none. Lauren has performed
pretty much all over the world, including Africa, Japan and Spain. Amongst others, she has performed with Sir Tom Jones, Red Hot Chilli Pipers and even Sydney Devine. Lauren also has extensive television experience, and has appeared on River City amongst other programmes. All tonight’s performers are giving their time for free, and we hope you will show them all the appreciation and respect that they deserve.

THE Miss West Lothian event has now been in existence for 21 years. The first winner was Lisa Hardie, from Armadale. Lisa had hoped to be here tonight, but unfortunately has had to stay overnight in Leeds with her work. She sends her apologies and good wishes to all tonight's entrants. Runner-up the first year was Angela Cetnarsky, from Ladywell, with Mandy
Jones, from Dedridge, placed third. Jim Leishman, who was Livingston manager at the time, presented the girls with their flowers. Ever since that first year, girls who have
entered the event have helped raise tens of thousands of pounds for local good causes and charities. All the money raised has been spent locally. Girls should be proud of their participation in Miss West Lothian, because they are helping the people who most need help. We actively encourage girls to stay involved with the Miss West Lothian event and remain committed to our charitable aim.
