DIPLOMA IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LEVEL 7—CLOUD APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Students initially undertake studies in the desktop application development, web application development, cloud application development, and mobile application development before specialising in a 16-week long application development project.

CLOUD APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT Strand

The Diploma in SoftwareDevelopment provides career-minded students with practical hands-on software development in moder n application programming, resulting in highly-tuned technical capabilities. On completion, graduates are well prepared for lucrative roles in the software development industry.

Cloud Application Development is for lear ners who wish to enhance their existing knowledge in order to develop cloud-based applications. The course is lear ner centered and offers lear ners the ability to explore cloud application development from a variety of perspectives, with a great deal of attention placed on applications using multi-tiered architecture with database driven content.

ACADEMIC ENTRY Successful completion of a Degree or National Diploma in Computing (or related field) Level 6 or overseas equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in computing with a qualification at level 6 or higher, or relevant background in computing either through qualifications or experience. Recognition of Prior Learning from previous qualifications will be made at the discretion of EDENZ Colleges. English Entry: IELTS 6.0, Pearson Test, or equivalent with no band lower than 5.5.
