CERTIFICATE IN APPLIED FILM & TELEVISION PRODUCTION LEVEL 4 The Certificate in Applied Film & Television Production provides career-minded students with the confidence and knowledge to make their own short films and to make an informed decision on a career path in the film and television industry. Training delivery will predominantly be Face-to-Face and delivery methods may include classroom discussion, group activities, tutor guided projects, lectures, and self directed learning.

CREATING FILM MAKERS
Content Summary: Students will be involved in a number of different film making challenges, including exercises and short films. This can include pitching, writing, casting, scouting, set design, lighting, shooting, directing actors, editing, and production management. Academic Entry
International students are are expected to be able to speak, read and write English Effectively. EDENZ Colleges has staff qualified to conduct both IELTS tests and Educational Service Centre (ESC) tests if necessary. Other than meeting the above requirements this programme has open entry.

The curriculum is delivered entirely by tutors who have their own on-going careers within the New Zealand and international film industry. Occasionally a number of tutors are available all at the same time. In that case, we might shoot an exercise with professionals as HODs (Heads of Department) so students can gain experience of being on a professional film set.
